A Beautiful Day

I had the opportunity to do the photography for my sister's wedding at the Sacramento temple. The evening sky was very dramatic in its recovery from the day's storm.

Resurrected

Ok. I guess now that I have a new computer with a screen four times the size of my laptop (the computer I originally used to run all of my business), I can much more easily edit photos and enjoy the process so much more. It feels like I've been drinking through a straw my entire life and then suddenly I'm given a fire hose. It's pleasantly overwhelming. Here are some old photos you'll recognize. With the the amazing power of photoshop on an extremely fast machine, these results are seen instantly and are very effective. I remind myself once again that I am involved in one of the most rewarding professions in the world.

Another Sunset

Did I pull off using flash outside?

I was a little nervous on the drive out to the flats that we wouldn't have enough light. Well, we didn't, so we were lucky I brought some of my own light. Syna did an absolutely amazing job.

An old new shot

I shot a reception for another photographer a while back and when I was going through my old pictures I found this. I liked it because this girl had absolutely stunning eyes.

An interesting challenge is to set up all completely new shots in a very familiar place. It turned out pretty good.
