Fui and Leonne

This was definitely the most unique wedding I've ever done. Simply organizing such a gigantic wedding party was a memorable experience. I had no idea what kind of cultural overload I would experience, especially that evening. It was a challenge just to keep shooting and not get distracted by the overwhelming beauty of the dancing and miles of handmade gifts. I'll never forget it.

The Marofs

It's that time of year again! Everyone needs a family photo for christmas cards and such so I have more opportunities to work with some amazing families. The children behaved very well on the 2 hour drive to the Salt Flats. Thanks again that was really fun!

More HDR

Well I was working today on editing photos from a wedding I shot in Manti. I shot this photo (or series of photos, different exposures, merged to an HDR image) on the drive back from Manti that evening. I can't help but get distracted by old pictures I've taken.

Gideon and Katie's engagement photo session was a great success. With huge rain clouds looming high, so were our doubts. We decided to simply go for it and just shoot what we could rain or shine. These photos tell the rest of what happened; one of the best photo shoots I've had. Thanks for the crew and the amazing help.

I was just finishing up with my work for today and getting ready to logout, but I figured I might as well put some stuff up that I was working on.

Color Binge

This is what happens when you take what you've learned in a color photography class and apply it. Being among the first photoshoots of the year, this couple was very enjoyable to shoot. Every time I do a portrait session, I am reminded of how lucky I am to work so closely with people during such a good time in their life.
